Ken Hurst FRSA

After studying graphics at the London College of Printing, I embarked on brief professional forays into cartography, technical illustration and graphic design before settling on a lifelong career in journalism, a decade of which was spent writing for the Eastern Daily Press in my home city of Norwich.

Originally inspired to return to art by David Hockney’s pioneering and boisterous pushing at the boundaries of drawing and painting on the mighty iPad, I think I’ve now found a tipping point where tricksy computing meets and makes way for tradition.

You’ll see the direction of the journey from ‘new age pointillism’ to small limited editions of large scale handmade serigraphs in my work.
